Why Education?

Since 2005, our orphan care program has provided for the basic needs of the North Korean orphans in our care. As this population matures and becomes adults, we have an opportunity to send some of these children into adulthood with a chance to break free from their poverty.

Education Assistance - Two Year Projection

• Of the children currently under our care, four are currently in or will attend college or trade school while over twenty children are receiving primary education support. Support includes tuition, books, school supplies and sometimes housing
• Crossing Borders has and continues to provide education support and scholarships to children and families in our network.
• Focusing on it this Giving Tues is a way for us to double down on education to help more families break the impending cycle of poverty.
